Demonetisation - In Petrol pump, Airline Ticket Old Rs 500 Will Be accepted till tomorrow

At petrol pumps and for airline tickets will be accepted Old Rs 500 notes till December 2 as against December 15 announced earlier.

Government Notification Said - With the consequence from Dec 3^rd, 2016, old Rs 500 notes cannot be used for get of petrol, diesel and gas at the stations operating under authorization of public sector oil marketing companies and for buying airline tickets at airport counters.

This facility too has been withdrawn toll payment in both old 500 and 1,000 rupee notes was accepted till Dec 2^nd, and from December 3^rd it was to be limited in 500 rupee notes.

So from December 3, fuel purchase, airline ticket booking at airport counters and highway toll payment would be allowed only in lower denomination currency or the new 500 and 2,000 rupee notes.
