HDFC falls 3 Percent; Nifty opens flat, Sensex in red;

The Sensex is losing 72.54 pts or 0.3 % at 26158.12 and the Nifty is losing 9.20 pts or 0.1 % at 8077.60. About 545 shares have advanced, 380 shares declined, and 61 shares are unchanged. 

Top losers - HDFC is down 4 % while Dr Reddy's Labs, Asian Paints, HDFC Bank and Wipro are in the Sensex 

Top gainers - Lupin, M&M, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp are in the Sensex 

9:18 am Market check:The market has opened normal as worldwide markets start the week on a cautious note post .The Sensex is move upward 8.80 pts at 26239.46 and the Nifty is move up 0.90 pts at 8087.70. About 243 shares have advanced, 139 shares declined, and 42 shares are unchanged.

GAIL, Asian Paints, Tata Motors, M&M and Sun Pharma are top gainers while ONGC, Axis Bank, TCS, Reliance and BHEL are top losers in the Sensex. 

The Indian rupee opened flat at 68.18 per $ on today versus 68.19 Friday.
