Gold futures edge higher on Monday-
Gold futures edged higher on Monday as investors await for more clarity on President Donald Trump's economic policy. In the week ahead, markets will focus on Trump's address to Congress on Tuesday for further details on his promises of tax reform, deregulation and infrastructure spending as well as a handful of Fed appearances, most importantly Fed Chair Janet Yellen on Friday.
Gold futures for April delivery gained 0.12% percent to trade at $1,258.65 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Spot gold was little changed at $1,256.61 per ounce.
