FLAT AFTER CHOPPY TRADE
The domestic equity indices discard
their early gains to end on a flat note on Tuesday with banking stocks weighing
the markets down. The BSE Bankex index plunged over 42 points to Rs 26,802.79
amid farm loan waivers. Notably, just a day ago, the index had hit its all-time
high at 26,921.97. PNB was the top loser in the sector down 2.31 per cent at Rs
144.
